9:00 am : Arrival in Tours at SNCF train station (1 hour from Montparnasse train station in Paris by TGV)
and departure from the Tourist Office (located across from train station) in air-conditioned minibus.

In the morning
AZAY LE RIDEAU / VILLANDRY
Visit of the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau set on an island in the middle of the Indre river.
Visit of the Villandry gardens, laid out in formal patterns created with low box hedges.

12:30 pm Lunch in Tours

In the afternoon
CHENONCEAU / AMBOISE / WINE CELLAR
Visit of the Château de Chenonceau, it is in a truly exceptional site, both for its original idea of building it on the Cher River, and for its destiny: to be loved, managed, and protected by women such as Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Medici.
Visit of the Chateau d’Amboise a royal residence during the reigns of Kings Charles VIII and François I (late 15th - early 16th century).
Visit and wine tasting in the wine cellar in Montlouis-sur-Loire.

6:30 pm : Return to Tours in air-conditioned minibus.

Daily departure from February 8th to November 11th 2020.
